2017 saw the launch of brand-new Cambridge based rock band, The Hot One Two. Exploding onto the scene, making appearances in venues and at festivals nationwide, which in turn drew the support and attention of local radio stations, including BBC introducing. Nick Blackburn (bass), Nick Manners (lead guitar) and Joe Chivers (drums), 3 friends, raised on rock and roll, began writing and rehearsing some tunes of their own. A dep guitarist joined the band mid 2018, to help finish off a very busy festival season.

After a line-up change, they recently welcomed the very talented Simon West as their permanent Frontman and Kev Baker as their second guitarist, both having a wealth of experience in recording and touring which has only strengthened their offering.

Their debut EP, 'Come What May' was very well received, and the band have used this as a spring-board to secure better shows and festivals. The band have secured shows including support slots with Those Damn Crows, FM, Tygers of Pan Tang, Massive Wagons, SKAM, Tequila Mockingbyrd, Saints of Sin, Vambo and Hollowstar.

Released on July 1st, 2022, Unrestrained is a home grown, self produced (Nick Blackburn) 4 track EP. In early 2018, the band laid down 4 drum tracks over at Crooks Hall with John Metcalfe. I know what your thinking...2018, that’s a big throwback. What followed were line-up changes, a worldwide pandemic, and an album of half recorded material.

Currently being played on HRH Radio. Midland Metal Heads Radio and on BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire as track of the week!

With their debut album already in pre-production stages for its release in 2023, and a new management deal with TowerRok Band Management a busy and exciting journey lies ahead!

The band are now looking for Festival Slots for 2023 to enable them to make wider fan engagements. If you have any appropriate slots available please bear them in your thoughts.

After fast becoming a staple within the local up-and-coming Rock Community and NWOCR scene with their bold, energetic and intense live shows – it’s fair to say that they are a band not to be missed when gracing a stage near you.Ballroom Blitz's Man At The Back
